Heliophos Boutique Hotel - Oía

A localização (perto de Fira e Oia).... A gentileza da Dna Sophia.... O cuidado com os quartos.... A fartura do café da manhã!!!! Enfim, um apartamento com jeito de casa.... ;-)

A nossa semana em heliophos foi simplesmente fantástica, maravilhosa e relaxante! é de facto um espaço muito bonito, cuidadosamente decorado e que mantém a traça original da arquitectura local. Para quem gosta de andar a pé, 15 minutinhos é a distancia até à praia. Para quem prefere a moto 4 ou o carro o rent a car vazeos é mesmo ao lado( 100mt) o pequeno almoco no terraço, com pão quente, iogurte, compotas caseiras e bolo acabado de fazer fazem as delicias. E a Sofia, a proprietária, faz de tudo para que a estadia em heliophos seja um verdadeiro sonho.

the hotel is located in a convience and quite place, only 10 minutes by walking to the centre of oia. The owner is very friendly and warmly. she shows the best host friendship. the hotel and room are equipped romantic and tastefull.

We had a lovely and spacious two floor traditional studio with terraces and a courtyard where guests read and ate breakfast. It's in a quiet area, Finikia, a little ways from the more touristy Oia. It was perfect for us. The owner is an informative and charming lady.

Wish we had a hot plate in the kitchen.

Heliophos is situated in one of the traditional villages of Santorini (very near to Ia (Oia)). The hotel is easilly accessible (after it is pointed out to you), a short walking distance to car rental, and close to main routes. The hotel itself is a renovated traditonal greek "cave style" home. The rooms and the hotel possess a natural charm which cannot be described at all. Additionally, the owner, Sophia's, is a most gracious hostess, who opens both her hotel and her home up to travellors. Breakfasts are a feast - Sophia puts on quite a spread - homemade jams, fresh baked chocolate cake, breads, copious amounts of coffee, lovely greek yoghurt and honey, etc etc. Breakfast is served in the common area of the hotel with a relaxed setting and beautiful view and guests are encouraged to sit together and mingle.

The room was not serviced every day - cant say if this was standard practice - but this was a non-issue considering the charm and everything else about the place - this was probably because the owner Sophia is not assisted by anyone or possibly because we stayed during the Easter holiday.

Not really much things I like about this hotel.

It is really hard to find, and the host does not speak english very well, we called her 3-4 times, but she cannot clarify that how we could find this hotel ! we have stayed the hotel for 4 nights, nobody has cleaned the room for us, even once! The hotels on the cliff with the sea view cost about 80-100/night, so this 50/night does not worth the money we paid.

The staffs were friendly and helpful. A room was very big and nice, but no toiletries like shampoo, shower gel. But when we asked for it, Sofia did find one for us. Kitchen utensils were provided.10 mins walk to Oia. Reasonable price even though the view was not as beautiful as Oia. Will definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel, very nice staff. Rooms are big, beautiful and comfort. The town finikia is also beautiful, a very nice traditional greece town.

It's very close to Oia, not crowded, small calm village. The owner is very nice and kind, helpful.

Hotel was not at all as I expected. What is showed on the pictures is not even close to what you will get. It wasn't really clean, we had ants(!!) in our bed. What is "luxurious" in this hotel I have no idea. We have TV buit it was not working, old CD player didn't make a good impression either.

The atmosphere of all Santorini is amazing, especially after sunset and in the morning, when the one - day tourist come back home. It is a good idea to stay in the Santorini few days and spend the morning the in the terrace. The nice owner, very good breakfast, from natural products. Clean rooms, by=ut you should look out and swich on some equipment to have hot water.

foinikia is a great place to stay in santorini...is a 15 min walk distance to oia and is very quiet, cozy,relaxing and it could be a scenery for a movie.this village is what santorini used to be some years ago. heliophos has been decorated with style and reflects the exceptional personality of sofia (the owner) who makes you feel at home, she's very helpful and you can talk for hours with her...heliophos is sofia!the whole scenery is very atmosfairic and relaxes you in a way. we totally recommend heliophos if you like something apart from the typical hotels with no personality.

The Hotel is served by the one person who is the owner of the Hotel. If You will chose that Hotel pls be ready to live in the museum as all furniture and stuff are from antiquate store.

The cutiest B&B you can find on the island. Once we arrived, we were awwwed...every little detail about the place brought us peace and quiet. I couldn't stop saying how cute the place was to friends who stayed somewhere else on the island. Loved every mintute of our stay :)

This little gem was on the outskirts of Oia in a traditional settlement called Foinikia, with a view over the valley below and the ocean. The renovated cave houses were charming and tastefully decorated. We stayed in the double which was more than enough room for two people. Sophia the owner was very welcoming upon arrival and made sure we felt at home during the duration of our stay. When she found out we were on our honeymoon she offered to make dinner for us (which was fantastic!). We had a wonderful time during our stay and would not hesitate to go back.
